Getting Started

Launching your first edition with TimesEd

A simple, supported process from start to finish

Every TimesEd edition is created in partnership with your school, combining your stories and ideas with our design, editorial and production expertise.

We guide the process throughout, making it straightforward to gather content, plan the edition, and bring everything together into a professionally produced newspaper.

Step 1

Initial Conversation

We meet with your team (online or in person) to understand your goals and how the newspaper can support your school.

Step 2

Planning & Content Support

We help you shape ideas, plan features and gather stories, photos and pupil contributions.

Step 3

Advertising & Funding

We manage advertising from start to finish, working with parents, alumni and carefully selected businesses to fully fund the edition.

Step 4

Design & Production

Our team handles layout, editing and proofs, working closely with you throughout the process to refine and finalise the publication.

Step 5

Delivery & Sharing

Your newspaper is delivered in print and digital formats, ready for you to share with parents, pupils, alumni and your wider community.

READY TO GET STARTED?

A short conversation is all it takes to see how a TimesEd edition could work for your school.

We’ll talk through your ideas, explain the process, and help you decide the best way to move forward.

“Today, for the very first time, we’re excited to launch The Hymerian as a newspaper. Accessible, sustainable, and packed with the wonderful achievements and everyday moments that make Hymers so special.

A huge thank you to the TimesEd team and to our brilliant advertisers (many of whom are proud Old Hymerians and current parents) who have made this possible at no cost to the school.”

Laura Booth (Director of Marketing: Hymers College)

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help with the newspaper. They have all arrived safely and they look wonderful!”

Sue Swanwick (Marketing & Communications Manager: King’s Worcester)

I have worked with Carl and Lynn at TimesEd over the past 18 months to bring the Sedbergh Prep Chronicle to life. I was initially drawn to their creative idea and friendly manner on our first meeting. They have gone on to provide the school with extremely high levels of professionalism, service and creativity that have brought our newspaper to life. I have found that nothing is ever too much trouble, and the school and parents are delighted with the finished product. I would have no hesitation in recommending TimesEd to other schools and businesses – thank you Carl and Lynn!
